Public virtual schools in Tennessee provide my children with a top-notch education. As a family, it’s a choice we’re able to make because lawmakers trust us — parents — not bureaucrats, with one of the most important decisions that will ever be made for our children.
To celebrate this school choice option, we’re joining other families next Wednesday for the Tennessee Virtual Education Day at our state capital. It starts at 9 a.m. and is free.
Tennessee is a state with many school choice options, but there’s still so much more we can do to empower parents. That’s why we will meet with legislators and share our opinions and personal stories about how we can keep improving public education. Together, we can expand the options for education, and the future will be bright for every child.
