Families Need Public School Options!
Contact Your State Lawmakers and Urge Them to Support Public School Options During COVID-19.
During the pandemic, we’re seeing unprecedented demand for educational options. In fact, nearly one in five students who attended a traditional brick and mortar school in the fall are unlikely to return in the fall, according to a national survey conducted by PSO.
This survey also found that a significant number of families are considering switching their child to a full-time online public schools in the fall, due to COVID-19 concerns.
As school districts and state leaders consider school reopening plans, state lawmakers must consider policies that empower parents to choose the best educational option to protect the health and safety of their families.
Unfortunately, some states have artificial barriers such as enrollment caps, prior public school requirements and inadequate funding that keep full-time online schools out of the reach of families.
Time is running out to make an impact. Use the form to send a letter to your state lawmakers, urging them to support policies that expand and protect school choice.
