Missouri Needs Online Learning Options Now!
The COVID-19 pandemic has created an historic disruption in public education that has affected nearly every family in Missouri.
With a growing number of parents concerned about a return to school this fall, online learning options like those provided under the Missouri Course Access and Virtual Education Program (MOCAP) are more important now than ever.
Unfortunately, school districts are ignoring parents seeking a full-time virtual online school for their child, preventing parents from enrollment options available to them under the law.
The State Board of Education has proposed a rule change that would force school districts to respond within 30 days to parents seeking online enrollment, and have asked the public to weigh in.
These policymakers need to hear from you today!
Please complete the form to send a message to the State Board of Education with one click. Tell them you support the rule change that makes school districts accountable to parents, so that our kids can get access to the online learning option best for them.
