Last week PSO had the honor of attending the Center for Education Reform’s 25th anniversary celebration in Miami, Florida.
It was a great event that featured some of the school choice movement’s most respected leaders: Governor Jeb Bush, Kevin Chavous and Former Secretary of Education Rod Paige.
Other education leaders talked about education innovation, career and technical education and higher education.
Miss American, Nia Franklin, also spoke about the importance of arts education.
It’s always wonderful to bring together the school choice community to learn from others, brainstorm about the future and look for opportunities to collaborate. When we work together, and the parent voice is represented, children have a better chance at success.
Congratulations to Jeanne Allen – founder of the Center for Education Reform – we look forward to seeing your good work continue for another 25!
